Latest rumors are saying that Alex Pettyfer, of I Am Number Four, has met with producers about playing the part of Peeta Mellark. His casting most likely depends on who is cast as Katniss, because he is 20 and his counterpart needs to look the same age to be convincing. This does seem to support the rumor that Jennifer Lawrence is in the lead for that role (she is also 20). I don't know how I feel about this, yet.
