Black Dahlia

Well, I don't have much to say about this movie except that I got bored after the first 45 minutes and stopped watching it. Its some weird interpretation of an unsolved murder in LA in the 1940s. Josh Hartnett's character is weird, Hillary Swank's character is weird, Scarlett Johansson's character is weird. I don't recommend it.

How we rank the movies

$ - It's just a bad movie.

$$ - Not a very good movie. Good enough only to watch for free on TBS 4 years later when you're up late and really bored.

$$$ - An ok movie. If it's at the dollar theater, sure go see it. Not a total waste of time movie.

$$$$ - A good movie, but it's better to rent it.

$$$$$ - A pretty good movie. Worth seeing, if it's in theaters try making it a matinee.

$$$$$$ - A really good movie. If you can, go see it in theaters, if you can't, see it as soon as it is released. Possibly just go ahead and buy this movie.

$$$$$$$ - Great movie. If you don't see it in the theaters as soon as possible your life will be less meaningful. If you missed it in theaters go buy it as soon as it's released and keep it on a loop on your DVD player for at least an entire weekend straight.
